The journal Al-Jina'i Al-Islami is committed to promoting open and free access to scientific knowledge. As part of this commitment, we define open access as providing unrestricted online access to peer-reviewed scientific research, ensuring that it can be freely read, downloaded, copied, distributed, printed, or linked without financial, legal, or technical barriers, in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative.


Access and License

All articles published in the Al-Jina'i Al-Islami Journal are available immediately after publication without an embargo period. No registration or subscription fees are required to access our content.

To facilitate clarity and ease of reuse, the Al-Jina'i Al-Islami Journal adopts a Creative Commons license. By default, all articles are published under the  Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International. This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided that proper attribution is given to the original author and the source.

Copyright Policy

Authors publishing in the Al-Jina'i Al-Islami Journal hold the copyright to their work. By submitting to and publishing in the Al-Jina'i Al-Islami Journal, authors grant the journal first publication rights under the open access license of their choice. This ensures that authors retain full control over their intellectual property while enabling the wide dissemination and reuse of their work.

Authors are also encouraged to:

  1. Share published articles in institutional repositories or on personal websites, to ensure proper recognition of the initial publication in the Al-Jina'i Al-Islami Journal.

  2. Sign non-exclusive agreements for further distribution, such as including their articles in books or other publications.
