Tari Gandai dan Berarak Petang dalam Walimah ‘Urs Ditinjau dalam Perspektif Hukum Islam

Gandai Dance and Berarak Petang are traditions originating from the Pekalese community which are usually performed at large events such as weddings, which are held at the bride's house after the marriage contract is completed or performed during walimah ‘urs (wedding party). This research is a field research or case study, this research is descriptive and the data used is qualitative. This research prioritises the truth and closeness of data based on experience, to find out the social behaviour of the community. Researchers collect data by going directly to the field which is carried out in detail, and in depth and fundamental to a particular institution, group, individual, and society with direct interaction in it. The approach used is a sociological approach. The subjects of this research were the Customary Chief of Dusun Raja Village, the Imam of Dusun Raja Village, the Head of Dusun Raja Village, and the Eldest Figure of Dusun Raja Village. Data collection was conducted using observation, interview, and documentation methods. The data obtained was analysed using descriptive qualitative method, which is describing general rules and then concluding with specific, arranged, presented, analysed, and drawing conclusions. The conclusions obtained in this study are: Gandai Dance and Berarak Petang in its implementation in the Dusun Raja Village community, the bride and groom are required to wear Bengkulu traditional clothes kept by the village head, Gandai Dance can be mandatory or not depending on the customary agreement during the formation of the wedding ceremony and Berarak Petang is performed in walimah ‘urs with the aim of announcing a marriage contract. In the perspective of Islamic Law, Gadai Dance and Berarak Petang may be performed in walimah ‘urs because it is a simple event and does not incur large costs.
