Author Fees

The Journal of Contemporary Rituals and Traditions charges an author fee of 4,000,000 IDR for each accepted manuscript. This fee helps cover the administrative and publication costs of the journal.

The journal provides waivers for authors who meet certain criteria. The waiver is available for authors whose research aligns exceptionally well with the journal's focus and whose article quality meets our high standards.

• Who is eligible for a waiver?

  • Both Indonesian and non-Indonesian authors are eligible for the waiver, provided their research is highly relevant to the journal's theme and meets the publication's quality standards.

• Which author(s) of the group must be eligible for the waiver to apply?

  • In cases with multiple authors, at least one author must meet the eligibility criteria for the waiver to apply.

• When and how to apply for a waiver?

  • To apply for a waiver, authors must email the editorial team at jcrt@uinsgd.ac.id. The waiver request should be submitted at the time of manuscript submission, along with a justification outlining the relevance of the research to the journal's themes and the article's quality.

The author fee or waiver status will not influence editorial decision-making. All manuscripts are evaluated based on their quality and relevance to the journal’s scope, without any consideration of financial factors.
