About the Journal
Focus and Scope
ROHIM: Research of Halal Industry Management is an open access and peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing original research papers, reviews, and case studies related to the management of the halal industry. The journal provides a scholarly platform for international academicians, researchers, practitioners, regulators, and society to exchange knowledge in the field of halal industry management.
The journal accepts rigorous empirical and theoretical research using any methodologies or approaches relevant to the halal industry. Topics include, but are not limited to:

All manuscripts must be written in English. Submissions not written in English will not be considered for peer review.
Peer Review Process
Every article submitted to ROHIM will go through an initial review by the Editorial Board. Articles that meet the basic requirements will be sent to peer reviewers and undergo a double-blind peer review process. The review process typically takes a maximum of one month.
All manuscripts are evaluated by editorial staff. Submissions deemed unsuitable for the journal’s scope and quality standards will be rejected without external review. Manuscripts of potential interest are reviewed by at least two reviewers. Decisions include: reject, revision required, or acceptance.

Publication Frequency
ROHIM is published twice a year, in June and December.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available supports global knowledge exchange. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of articles without prior permission from the publisher or author. This policy aligns with the Budapest Open Access Initiative.
Plagiarism Screening
All submitted papers are screened for plagiarism using Turnitin before entering the peer review process.
Reference Management
For citations and references, ROHIM requires the use of Mendeley (APA 7th edition style).
Publication Ethics
ROHIM: Research of Halal Industry Management is a peer-reviewed journal committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Duties of Editors

Publication Decisions: The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for deciding which manuscripts are published, guided by reviewers recommendations and legal requirements.

Fair Play: Manuscripts are evaluated on intellectual merit without discrimination.

Confidentiality: Editors must not disclose submitted manuscripts to anyone except relevant parties.

Conflicts of Interest: Unpublished materials may not be used in editors’ own research.
Duties of Reviewers

Contribution to Decisions: Peer review assists editors in decision-making and helps authors improve their work.

Promptness: Reviewers who cannot review promptly should inform the editor.

Confidentiality: Manuscripts must be treated as confidential.

Objectivity: Reviews must be objective and constructive.

Acknowledgement of Sources: Reviewers should ensure all relevant literature is cited.
Duties of Authors

Reporting Standards: Authors must present accurate, original work.

Data Access and Retention: Authors may be asked to provide raw data.

Originality and Plagiarism: Only original work may be submitted.

Multiple Submission: Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal.

Authorship: Only contributors who made significant contributions should be listed as authors.

Error Correction: Authors must promptly report errors in published work.
Author Fees
ROHIM does not charge any submission or publication fees.
