RPJ (Religion and Policy Journal) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access journal that publishes original research and critical reviews in the field of Religion and Governance, Religion and Public Policy, Ethic and Islamic studies. The journal aims to foster scholarly dialogue across cultures by welcoming high-quality contributions from academics, researchers, and practitioners worldwide.
Published by FISIP Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia, RPJ seeks to engage with global audiences and scholarly communities to advance the study of religion, policy, and Islam in both classical and contemporary contexts.
The Competitiveness of the Religion and Policy Journal
The Religion and Policy Journal (RPJ) is an international scholarly journal focusing on the study of religion, public policy, governance, and ethics. Since its launch in 2023, the journal has demonstrated consistent twice-yearly publication, a clear scientific focus, and articles relevant to contemporary issues such as governance, political participation, religious conflict, migration, development, and public ethics. RPJ also demonstrates a strong level of internationalization through the involvement of authors from various countries and adequate editorial governance support. Furthermore, the journal has begun to receive citations from Scopus-indexed sources, indicating initial academic visibility. With its distinct scholarly identity, consistent publications, and potential for growing academic influence, RPJ is worthy of consideration as a candidate for Scopus indexing evaluation.
