Focus and Scope

The Journal of Reksakerta is a legal academic journal that provides a platform for students and young scholars from Bachelor’s (S1), Master’s (S2), Doctoral (S3), and Postdoctoral levels to showcase their research and contributions in the field of law. Our journal emphasizes the opportunity for students to engage with contemporary legal issues, share their insights, and participate in global legal debates.

This journal gives priority to Islamic Law and provides a dedicated space for works related to this field, followed by Private Law, Public Law, and International Law. We aim to provide an opportunity for students to articulate their legal thoughts and contribute to the development of legal scholarship, offering a platform where emerging scholars can express their ideas and engage with established legal theories.

Priority Areas:

1. Islamic Law (Fiqh and Shariah)

   • This is the primary focus of the journal, inviting works that delve into Islamic legal principles, jurisprudence, and contemporary applications of Shariah across various legal systems and societies.

2. Private Law

   • This includes research in areas such as contract law, property law, family law, and tort law, providing an opportunity for students to explore both theoretical and practical aspects of private legal matters.

3. Public Law

   • Articles that discuss topics related to constitutional law, administrative law, and human rights law are welcomed. This area encourages engagement with the legal aspects of governance, the state, and public policy.

4. International Law

   • The journal invites research in the field of international relations, international human rights law, trade law, and global justice, giving students an opportunity to engage with legal issues that transcend national borders.

5. Other Legal Areas
