DATA SHARING POLICY

DATA SHARING POLICY

Wastu Adabia: Journal of Language and Literature

Wastu Adabia: Journal of Language and Literature adopts a data sharing upon reasonable request policy. Authors agree to make the data and materials supporting the findings, analyses, or conclusions of their articles available upon reasonable request. The determination of whether a request is reasonable remains at the discretion of the author.

Authors must cite any data sets referenced in the manuscript and include a Data Availability Statement indicating the accessibility of the data used in the research. Data should only be shared when it is ethically appropriate and does not compromise the privacy, confidentiality, or security of research participants or other protected information.

Submission Requirements

At the time of submission, authors will be asked whether their manuscript is associated with any data set(s). If the answer is yes, authors must provide:

  • a DOI,

  • a pre-registered DOI,

  • a hyperlink to the data repository, or

  • another persistent identifier linked to the data set(s).

If a pre-registered DOI is provided, authors may also be asked—upon reviewer request—to share the reviewer-access URL associated with the data deposit.

Peer Review of Data Sets

Data sets associated with submitted manuscripts are not formally peer reviewed by the journal as part of the editorial process. The accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the data remain the sole responsibility of the authors. Any errors or inaccuracies found in the data rest entirely with the data producers.
