Wastu Adabia: Jurnal Bahasa, Sastra, Budaya, dan Humaniora proudly presents Volume 1, Number 1 (January 2026) as its inaugural edition. This issue features scholarly articles that critically examine language, literary texts, cultural practices, religious thought, and social realities through interdisciplinary perspectives. The contributions within this journal engage various theoretical frameworks, including semiotics, discourse analysis, postcolonial studies, and social theory, highlighting issues of meaning, power, identity, and ideology within literary and cultural contexts. Published by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, this edition marks Wastu Adabia’s commitment to fostering critical and reflective humanities studies.

Welcome to WASTU ADABIA, an academic journal published by the Dewan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This journal provides a scholarly platform for the exploration and advancement of knowledge in the fields of literature, language, culture, and the humanities. It encourages critical reflection, interdisciplinary dialogue, and the dissemination of contextual and transformative research.

Scope

WASTU ADABIA focuses on scholarly works in the following areas:

  • Literary Studies – Literary analysis, theory, and interdisciplinary approaches.
  • Linguistic Studies – Linguistics, philology, translation, and sociocultural language relations.
  • Cultural Studies – Local wisdom, heritage, historical and contemporary culture.
  • Humanities Studies – Philosophical, historical, and religious perspectives in Adab.
