Abstract

Al Musyaffa Islamic Boarding School, established in 2013 in the heart of Tasikmalaya City, was created in response to the decline of Islamic values among the younger generation. The pesantren aims to produce Qur'an memorizers as well as scholars of classical Islamic books, amidst the challenges of modernization. This study highlights the educational strategies applied, including the tahfiz method, the teaching of yellowIslamic classic books, as well as the social contribution of the pesantren. Using a historical approach through interviews and literature study, it was found that Al Musyaffa combines traditional methods such as talqin and musyafahah with the support of modern technology. The main curriculum includes the books of Tafsir al -Jalalayn, Safinatun Najah, and Akhlaq al -Banin. Not only focusing on education, this pesantren is also active in social religious activities as a form of community empowerment. The combination of tradition and innovation makes Al Musyaffa an adaptive and relevant pesantren model in responding to the challenges of the times.
