Pupujian: Jurnal Kajian Sastra dan Kearifan Lokal is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This journal provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, and cultural practitioners to explore, interpret, and preserve literary works and local wisdom across various cultural contexts.

Focus and Scope

The journal focuses on literary studies and local wisdom, with specific attention to:

• Oral and written literature, both classical and contemporary,

• Literary criticism using diverse theoretical frameworks such as structuralism, post-structuralism, feminism, postcolonialism, ecocriticism, and others,

• Cultural expressions and traditional knowledge rooted in local communities,

• The relationship between literature, identity, tradition, and socio-cultural dynamics,

• Interdisciplinary studies that connect literature with religion, philosophy, language, and indigenous perspectives.

Publication Schedule

Pupujian: Jurnal Kajian Sastra dan Kearifan Lokal is published biannually, in June and December.
