RIMA RITME DALAM NADHOM SULLAM MUNAWAROQ (KAJIAN ILMU ARUDH QAWAFI)

Abstract

This study discusses the rhyme and rhythm contained in the book Sullam Munawaroq. It aims to identify the variations in rhyme and rhythm found in the nadhom of Sullam Munawaroq using the approaches of ‘arudh (Arabic prosody) and qawafi (rhyme theory). The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytic technique, focusing on the principles of ‘arudh and qawafi. The analysis reveals that the rhyme changes in the nadhom of Sullam Munawaroq include maqthu’ occurring 65 times, makhbun 336 times, mukhayala’ 35 times, muthoy 100 times, and khayl 31 times, all of which are structured within a single bahr, namely bahr rajaz. The rhythm forms are categorized based on form and type. Based on form, there are four types identified: part of a word occurring 9 times, one word 38 times, more than one word 59 times, and two words 37 times. Based on type, the rhyme is divided into three aspects: the qafiyah letter, which includes rawi muqayad (40 times), rawi mutlaq (49 times), and washl (55 times); the qafiyah vowel, which includes majra (104 times) and taujih (40 times); and the qafiyah name, which includes mutawatir (46 times), mutadarik (81 times), mutarakib (14 times), and mutakawis (3 times).
